2026-04-09Parents Visit Pre-Departure Training for Seoul Orchestra Exchange Tour
The last day of the Easter holiday marked a meaningful and fruitful day for the members of our orchestra exchange tour to Seoul. Students returned to school for rehearsals and a video recording of their performance, making thorough preparation for the upcoming overseas exchange. We were especially delighted to have many parents join us during the final hour of the training session to observe the rehearsal in action.
The event began with a speech by our Principal, Ms LAM, followed by a word from our concertmaster, the lead violinist YU Pak Ho, who shared his music learning journey.
Through this activity, our parents gained a better understanding of their children’s regular training, including sectional practices and full ensemble rehearsals under the conductor’s guidance. The students worked on rhythm and tempo, while learning how the main melody passes between different instruments, demonstrating the subtle beauty of music and its close connection with singing.
We would like to express our heartfelt thanks to our parents for their presence and continuous support for their children’s musical learning over the years, enabling them to become members of the orchestra.
As we are going to set off, our students carry with them their parents’ support and encouragement. We are confident they will fully immerse themselves in music and bring their beautiful melodies to Seoul, Korea!
