Apple iPad Wifi 128GB or above is recommended.
(Apple iPad Wifi 64GB or less capacity and iPad mini are not recommended.)
Which subject areas are using e-books?
English (A hardcopy of the English book is also required for class.), Mathematics, General Studies, Putonghua, Music and Computer Studies.
Is Wifi access required at home?
All e-books can be read without a Wifi connection. However, with a Wifi connection, it is more convenient for the students to turn in their e-homework and practise the online exercises.
How to avoid students downloading their personal online games?
Our school uses the MDM system to manage all tablets, therefore students cannot download any Apps without permission.
Should we update the operating system (iOS) in the iPad ourselves?
Parents should not update the iOS version without receiving any notifications from the school. E-book publishers will update e-books with the iOS version, so that the e-books can be read as usual. However, since the update process takes time, it is not recommended that parents update the iOS version without being notified. The school will notify parents of the time to update the iOS version through teachers and the school website.
