”Little Docents in Hong Kong - My School” Docent Video Production Competition 2021/22

Our little MKC docents produced a video introducing our school for the "Little Docents in Hong Kong - My School" Docent Video Production Competition. They used Cantonese, Mandarin and English to talk about our school in the video. Congratulations to P.5 YEUNG TSZ NGO, CHENG LOK YI, CHUNG CHEUK HEI, CHEN RAINY and LAI YUI YIN for winning Champion in the Docent Video Production Competition and also for winning the Outstanding Docents Award.

Prize Presentation Ceremony for Student of the Year Award cum HKDSE Outstanding Awards 2021

The Prize Presentation Ceremony for Student of the Year Award cum HKDSE Outstanding Awards 2021 was held to celebrate outstanding student performances. Our students MO MAN TIK SKY was awarded the Student of the Year Award and CHOW JEFF MYRON was awarded the Student of the Year Award (Extra-Curricular Activities).

The 16th Chinese and English Writing Competition for P6 Students

The 16th Chinese and English Writing Competition was held on 22nd November, 2020. This competition is organized by Tai Po Sam Yuk Secondary School. The purpose of the competition is to increase the interest of primary school students in Chinese and English writing, and to improve their psychological quality in the on-the-spot test.

In the Chinese writing category, we would like to congratulate CHU YUET KWAN for winning a Merit Award, and 9 students for winning the Proficiency Award, including LI HAO, LI XIN, DONG ZIYING, LEE NIM CHI JENNIFER, LIN CHI YUEN, WAN QINZI NICOLE, YEUNG CHUN YAN, LI JIA YI and WONG WING TUNG.

The 18th P6 Academic Contest

This year, nine primary 6 students from our school participated in the 18th P6 Academic Contest organized by Hong Kong Taoist Association Tang Hin Memorial Secondary School. Two of our students namely, ZHU CHAK LUI and LI WANGHAO won 3 individual Gold awards each. LI WANGHAO also won the overall 1st runner-up award.

The total average scores of our students in the Chinese, English, and Mathematics tests are higher than the total average scores of all participants. The list of winners is as follows:

The school takes this opportunity to share this joy with all the students and parents, and hopes that each student will actively participate in different types of activities or competitions to realize their potential.

The North District Outstanding Students Election 2019-2020

Congratulations to the following students for winning the awards:

P3 Xiao Winston – Merit Award (Lower Primary), P6 Bai Yuhan – Merit Award & Multi-intelligence Team Award (Upper Primary),

P6 Xu Ching Lam – Multi-intelligence Team Award (Upper Primary). The students are invited to attend the award ceremony on 15^th February, 2020.

The 16th P6 Academic Contest

This year, twenty-one primary 6 students from our school participated in the 16th P6 Academic Contest organized by Hong Kong Taoist Association Tang Hin Memorial Secondary School. Our school was awarded 1st runner-up as a team. In addition, three of our students namely, WANG YUEN TING, YANG SHU XUAN and RONG SEN YEUNG HEI won 3 individual Gold awards each. WANG YUEN TING also won the overall 2nd runner-up award.

The 13th Speaking Contest for Hong Kong Students

A total of 27 students participated in the competition this year. This competition helps students improve their thinking, communication and social skills. The results of the competition are as follows: Lower Primary: Solo Recitation (Chinese) P2 CHUNG PUI WAI – Overall 2nd runner-up Prepared Story Telling/Prepared Speech (Putonghua) P2 CHEN RAINY -Overall 1st runner-up Prepared Story Telling/Prepared Speech (Cantonese) P3 MO MAN TIK SKY – Overall 2nd runner-up Upper Primary: Solo Recitation (Chinese) P5 CHIU SHUI KEI -Overall 2nd runner-up P6 WANG YU TUNG – Overall 2nd runner-up P6 TSUI YEE KI – Outstanding Performance Award Prepared Story Telling/Prepared Speech (Putonghua) P6 HUANG YUFENG – Overall Champion P6 QIU TSZ CHING – Outstanding Performance Award.

Elites in Chinese Scheme 2018/19

A big congratulations to the following students: P6 student Wang Yuen Ting was awarded a Gold medal, Champion of the Impromptu Speech Competition and Champion of the Impromptu Recital and P6 student Wang Yu Tung was awarded a Silver medal, 1st runner up of the Chinese Culture Competition and Merit of Impromptu Speech Competition.

“Good Mood, Good Day” Story writing competition

A lot of our students were eager to join the "0Good Mood, Good Day" story writing competition. We were honored to be awarded the "Most Active Participation Award". In addition, many of our students' stories won awards as well. P6 Lam Cheuk Chi was awarded the "Outstanding Story Award". P3 Wong Wing Nam, Li Chak Lung, P4 Lu Guo, P5 Fang Shiyan, Chiu Shui Kei and P6 Lin Pak Yu, Lin Wing Yin were awarded the "Story Award (Merit)". Congratulations to the above award winners.

The North District Outstanding Students Election 2018-2019

This year, five lower primary students and five upper primary students participated in the competition. Students were interviewed and they had tasks to accomplish which required the use of their leadership skills and teamwork. Students who have been awarded this year are: Lower Primary Category: P3 LI TIN YU EVA, ZHOU TSZ YIU SELINA, WANG TSZ MING, QIU TIAN, DENG ZIHUAN (Awarded the Multi-intelligence Team Award) Upper Primary Category: P5 WONG SZE I KATHLEEN, BAI YUHAN

Prize Presentation Ceremony for Student of the Year Award cum DSE outstanding Awards

The 2017-2018 Prize Presentation Ceremony for Student of the Year Award cum DSE outstanding Awards was held on 14th July, 2018. One of our students from class 6D, Wang Yu Tung, was awarded the overall First Prize Student of the Year Award. A former student, Wong Kai Ming was awarded the Student of the Year Award with Merit. Also, Xiong Yu Fei from 6A was awarded the Student of the Year Award for extra-curricular activities. We are so proud of our students!
