Sports

In order to strengthen students' physique and develop good exercise habits, our school organizes a variety of sports events allowing our students to show their strengths and talents. Among all the activities, the football team, swimming team and rope skipping team are particularly outstanding. They have won numerous inter-school and public competition awards.

Activities that fall into the sports category are as follows:

School team

Swimming, track and field, football, rope skipping, volleyball, table tennis, badminton, basketball, mini tennis, martial arts, etc.

Interest class

English karate, English rope skipping, western dance, integrated dance, Chinese dance, taekwondo, gymnastics, mini tennis, football, martial arts, track and field, basketball, table tennis, badminton, etc.

 

Football Development

  • Training from an early age

An expert (professional football coach) is arranged to teach football to our P.1 students in the normal PE lessons. The expert teaches basic football skills in 6 lessons in the 1st term and selects potential students to participate in the 2nd term's professional training. Students who have outstanding performance in the 12 lessons of the 2nd term will then be invited to join the football team.

  • Interest classes

Football Beginner Class (P.1): every Friday after class

Football Intermediate Class (P.2-P.3): every Saturday morning

Football Senior Class (P.4-P. 6): every Saturday morning

  • School Teams

Every year, potential students are selected to join the school team through observations from the inter-class football competitions, recommendations from the P.1 in-class football expert, interest class coaches and PE teachers. Potential students are invited to join the team and receive systematic training.

  • Competitions

The school football teams participate in numerous competitions. In recent years, both the boys' and girls' teams have dominated the North District Inter-school Football Competition as top three. The junior team (P.1-2), intermediate team (P.3-4), and senior team (P.5-6) have won many awards in the joint-school competitions. The boys' team are also ranked one of the top rankings in the inter-primary school football matches in Hong Kong.

  • Overseas exchanges and competitions

Students who perform well in the boys' and girls' football teams are selected to join the joint-school football team to receive more comprehensive training from the Arsenal Soccer School (Hong Kong). Two overseas exchanges and competitions are arranged every year. We have been to Guangzhou Evergrande FC Club, Japan, Vietnam, Singapore, etc., and we are planning to go to the Arsenal Football School in England for training.

 

Rope skipping development

  • Training from an early age

English rope skipping class: every Wednesday after class

Rope Skipping Beginner Class (P.1): every Thursday after class

Rope skipping Intermediate Class (P.2-P.3): every Saturday morning

Rope Skipping Senior Class (P.4-P.6): every Saturday morning

  • Rope skipping team

Every year, potential students are selected to join the school team through recommendations from the P.2 In-class rope skipping expert, interest class coaches and PE teachers. Potential students are invited to join the team and receive systematic training.

  • Competition

The school's rope skipping team has participated in the 18 Districts Rope Skipping Competitions and the Heung To Cup and have won multiple awards.

  • Overseas exchanges and performances

Students with outstanding performance in our school's rope skipping team will be invited to go to our sister schools in Hangzhou and Zhengzhou for exchanges and performances.
