Our PTA held a trip to the Hong Kong Observatory on January 19, 2017. We had a guided tour by the volunteers of the Hong Kong Observatory. The trip firstly started with the introduction of the Hong Kong Observatory by watching a short movie. Then we visited the exhibition hall and looked at other equipments such as temperature table shed, magnetic sense of the wind cup, anemometer and rain measurement bucket. The two volunteer-guides explained in details how the different equipment works and the daily work of the Hong Kong Observatory. Through this visit to the Hong Kong Observatory, we all learned more about the climate, and the impact of climate change! Hope that everyone can be more aware of the Earth's climate change!
