Origin

For years, our school has been preparing for and discussing how best to launch Science education. We started our scientific journey from primary 1 in the 2018-2019 school year and have been extending the curriculum to higher levels annually. Let's take a glimpse at our fascinating voyage of discovery!

Target

To cultivate students' curiosity about the world and to enhance their knowledge, ideas, values, attitudes and experiences.
To help students grasp basic scientific concepts and research methods.
To stimulate students' communicative, creative and problem-solving skills and lifelong learning ability.
To provide a good foundation of scientific knowledge and a better linkage to junior secondary level.

Feature

Science is taught as a separate subject differentiated from STEM lessons. We focus on stimulating scientific curiosity and developing students' skills and knowledge.

We utilize English as the medium of instruction, thus creating another platform for students to learn and express their thoughts in English.

Last but not least, we have adapted an experiential learning approach to teaching and learning. Students are able to carry out a range of fun-filled experiments in our tailor-made science laboratory. As you can see, our students are devoted to the world of science; we can’t wait to show you where their successes lead!
