CoolThink@JC

The school attaches great importance to students' computational thinking and coding education. Through participating in the " CoolThink@JC" project, students are inspired to use digital creativity in their daily lives, so that students have sufficient ability to cope with the ever-increasing digital age in the future.

Computational thinking education courses have been implemented in the Science and Innovation Curriculum in Primary 4 to 6. The course content includes learning Scratch and App Inventor. We believe that students' skills in designing animations and writing applications will be greatly improved.

The 5G STEM Pilot School Initiative

As the 5G era is approaching, new technologies will help Hong Kong develop into a smart city. Our school stood out from more than 200 primary schools and became one of the first 18 primary schools in Hong Kong to pilot the STEM primary school curriculum incorporating the concept of 5G.

Activity Highlights

Principal Fung, with some teacher representatives and students attended the launch ceremony of the 5G STEM Pilot School Initiative.

Students are experiencing important characteristics of 5: low latency, increased speed and higher capacity.

With the support of 5G technology, a larger number of smart home products will become more accessible.

Our students are learning about STEM with the incorporation of 5G concepts.
