Strategic Work in Parent Education in Mental Health – Primary School

Principal Lo and a number of parents and students attended the Closing Ceremony of Phase I and the Opening Ceremony of Phase II of the "Strategic Work in Parent Education in Mental Health – Primary School " project together on 27th November, 2022. The officiating guests on that day included the Secretary for Health Prof. Chung-mau Lo and member of the Legislative Council Dr Hon TIK Chi-yuen, SBS, JP. The programme has been developed by psychiatric medical staff and provided by social welfare organizations to help parents improve their disciplinary and communication skills with their children, as well as helping them understand their children's behaviour and emotions.

Parent Seminar

As sponsored by the WEMP Foundation, the school invited Dr. Charles Yu, a well-known parenting education expert, to host a seminar on "Positive Parent Psychology-A Happy Formula". Through theory and practice, parents can understand the needs of their children at different stages of development and improve parent-child relationship.
