Extracurricular activities play an important role in whole-person education. Our school values the balanced development of students in moral, intellectual, physical, social, and aesthetic aspects. Therefore, we provide a wide range of extracurricular activities to help students develop multiple intelligences, learn to live and work with others, and build a healthy and positive outlook on life.
We organise various types of activities for students to participate in. Academic activities include the English Elite Class taught by our native English teachers, Cambridge English Class, Mathematical Olympiad Class, and Robotics and Coding Class. Artistic activities include Pottery Class, English Drama, and Soft Clay Class. For music and sports, we offer the Percussion Band, Orchestra, Chinese Music Ensemble, Taekwondo Class, Rope Skipping Class, Swimming Class, Athletics Team, and Football Team. More than 900 students join after-school training classes each year, with a participation rate as high as 93%.
The school also regularly organises internal activities, competitions, and overseas exchange programmes. Students are encouraged and trained to take part in various inter-school activities and competitions, allowing them to showcase their potential and talents. Every year, our students win over 1,600 external awards.
