School-based curriculum

We focus on students' interpreting and problem-solving ability. Teachers ask students to demonstrate the process of solving math problems in class to improve their problem-solving and interpreting skills. Besides, teachers arrange different activities in class to form and strengthen their mathematical concepts. Also, we have designed our featured school-based courses such as Master of Math, Math in Life and Unit Worksheets for school curriculum development and to enrich students' learning experience.

School Activities

Our school arranges different Maths activities for students of all levels to participate in, such as STEAM exploration, lunch recess Maths games, Times Table Reciting Competitions, estimation activities, creative Maths quizzes, Maths Day and so on, giving students the opportunity to learn outside the classroom and develop their interests in learning Maths.

Extracurricular Activities and Achievements

In order to enhance students' higher-order thinking, our school provides students with Mathematical Olympiad classes to broaden their learning experience. We encourage students to actively participate in various mathematics and science competitions and have achieved great results. For example, our students have received High Distinction Certificates in the “UNSW Global Assessments”, won the first prize in the “Huaxiabei National Mathematics Olympic Competition”, won the first prize in the “Primary School Mathematics Competition” and won the gold medal in the "Hong Kong Creative Maths and Science 4D Frame Competition". These activities and achievements have broadened students' horizons and strengthened their self-confidence.
